American Floyd Landis of the Phonak squad found the rainy conditions in Rome, Georgia were to his liking. He stormed through the 18 mile course in 39’58”, the only rider to arrive under 40 minutes in Stage Three of the Tour de Georgia. Landis will be wearing the overall leaders jersey in today’s Stage Four, were the riders hit the southern Appalachian Mountains of north Georgia.
