The 15th
Annual Tour of Ohio Stage Race is a six - day timed stage race for
Pro 1-3 Men riders, and for Women 1-4.
The Tour
of Ohio is a true stage race where all cyclists must participate and
finish in that day's stage in order to start the next day's stage;
( but don't worry, there is a forgiveness rule).
This
event is an opportunity for young "up-and- coming" racers
to experience a variety of race formats, a daily thrill, and the agony
of riding a true stage race (based on time).
The Tour
Ohio is scheduled for June 18-June 23rd, 2007, and is one of the nicer
bicycle stage races in the United States. The Tour of Ohio covers
over four hundred miles of Ohio's great roads. Whoever thinks Ohio
is flat farm country has not been to Southeast Ohio and the Appalachian
Foothills. Following the opening day criterium race in conjunction
with the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure; tour stops include some of
Ohio's best small towns, state parks, and tourist destinations.
