Team Time Trial

September 16, 2000

40KM (25 Mile) Course includes a mix of gentle rollers and flat terrain and has one turn. It will be out-and-back twice, so practice those turnarounds. Teams may consist of 2,3 or 4 riders. 3 and 4 person teams’ time will be taken on the 3rd rider to cross the line. 2 person teams will be taken on the 2nd rider. Riders who come to event without any teammates may group together to form wildcard teams. If possible, all riders should wear matching uniforms. Riders don’t need to be on the same USCF team to compete together.

Entry is $30 per team. Trophies and merchandise to be awarded to top 3 teams.

Registration and award’s ceremony to take place at Walt’s Pizza in downtown Baldwin City, KS. Race starts at 1pm. Registration starts at 11:30am. Awards ceremony immediately follows completion of race. Course starts on south end of Baldwin City.

Directions: From Kansas City go to southwest corner of I-435 loop and then take K-10 west for about 18 miles to Eudora exit. From Eudora go south on county road 1061 to US 56 Highway. Go right on US 56 to Baldwin City. Once in Baldwin, take a left on 7th St. (by Kwik Shop) and follow to High St. Take right on High St. and Walt’s Pizza will be on the left. From Wichita take I-35 north to Le Loup/Baldwin City exit. Go north to T. Go left and drive west for 2 miles. Go right and its about 5 miles to Baldwin City. Take left on High St. and Walt’s Pizza is on your left.


Vinland Road Race

September 17

Starts and finishes at Vinland Grade School, which is located 4 miles north of Baldwin City on County Road 1055. From KC take K-10 west to Eudora. Go south on 1061 for 5.5 miles and then take a right on County Road 460. Follow 460 4.8 miles to Vinland Grade School. Entry fee for road race is $25. Registration starts at 7:30am.
