Big Boneshakers Bike Race III: Results

So, you thought a little bit of rain would slow us down? NO WAY! We're professionals when it comes to putting on a race when the clouds open up! We were a bit disappointed that we ONLY awarded 96 primes during the races, and one track stand prime at the end.  Next year, we'll shoot for 100.

Another big winner was the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee (Three large boxes of food and $20 cash).  Thanks to everyone who "Took a Bite out of Late Fees."

We'd like to thank everyone (spectators and participants), and look forward to next year, sans rain. (We'll also try to do something about the aroma from the Menominee Falls Alps).  And in case you missed it, WTMJ ran a spot on our race during Sunday night's 6 pm and 10 pm newscasts.

Thanks again to our sponsors: Bikesmiths, White Lightening, Powerbar, Avid, City Market in Shorewood. And a special thanks to: 94WKTI (for the CD primes), the village of Menominee Falls, Paratech Ambulance, and the businesses in the Menominee Falls Industrial Park (Schunk Graphite, Wacker, Raabe, Omega Tool, IFF, Ro-An Corporation, Techmaster, Thermo Dynamic Systems Inc., Litho Craft Co., Decision One)
