The Park Police time trial ( No USCF Points) went off. The start time was delayed slightly. The prior cancellation policy was if the roads were wet. This has been changed. We will now determine on race day. Twelve people showed in the hopes that things would dry out. Seven actually raced. The feedback was positive:
Road markings with chalk, cones, flares and a police cruiser at every turn left no question about where to turn.
Be sure to show for the next one June 14. Please see attachment for details.
If you wish to race as a team please contact me ahead of time to make arrangements.
Only one woman showed. She expressed disappointment that her peers were deterred, but was elated that she took first place. It was her first time trial ever.
Conditions: Cool, Wet Roads, Wind, Occasional Drizzle
